From Freshman to Foodie
This cookbook is dedicated to all university students around the world who are interested in getting better knowledge in the kitchen to be able to prepare their daily meals without the complicated recipes that take ages to cook!
Research done on the dietary patterns of University students in the UK concluded that there should be more university policies to improve students’ diets to promote student engagement in cooking and food preparation and increase the availability of low cost healthier food items. This research journal, alongside the comments I have received from peers and friends about the struggles of cooking “health-conscious” meals due to time constraints and stress from the university itself, has really inspired me to start this project into creating healthy, tasty and accessible recipes formed into an accessible cookbook and educational video for all university students.
